Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine

Classical Chinese medical treatments are based on the uniqueness of each autonomous body, spirit, and mind. Therefore, our sessions are centered around the idea that health and healing are a process rooted in relationship; to your self and to the environment.

What I observe, what we talk about, how you connect with your body, and your history create a landscape through which to understand your very specific and unique corporeal experience in the world. It's important that you take part in your wellness, so we will discuss ways that you can participate in manifesting that balance and presence in daily rituals and functions.

Whether you have a specific injury, a chronic condition, or purely want to work more efficiently, I will work with you to support your body in finding balance. Dependent on your needs, my purpose is to find the right match; whether that be a singular focused approach, or any number of them in concert.

There is no singular way to approach all of humanity’s pain so it is the physician's job then, to discover the unique source of each one’s pain to stop the cycle of suffering in the world.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

Chinese herbal medicine is a highly individualized art form. There are a number of different techniques that can be used to create prescriptions. I specialize in raw herbal preparations which can be made into decoctions, powders, and pills. I also work with granular formulas which can be more convenient to take at home. There are a number of patent formulas that can be used in the forms of pills, tinctures, and topicals as well.

My goal is to understand what you and your body need to successfully continue evolving and to keep up with your process.  That means I will not keep you on one herbal prescription indefinitely.  I want to change your regimen in rhythm with you.

Once you are an established patient we can consult and follow up remotely as needed.
